Reflections of the Silurian reefs paint the ancient limestone walls. Nearly 430 million years ago, Palmisano (Henry) Park in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago was the site of a once thriving underwater ecosystem. Over time, this site transformed into a limestone quarry (Stearns Quarry), and presently into a fishing pond and public nature park. The limestone walls provide a sedimentary canvas on which light, video and image is projected. Here, the gap between the prehistoric age to the present is the thinnest.
